Here is how to start your own book club:

1. Find participants. Spread the word by asking colleagues and friends within your company. Find a champion in your company who loves books and will act as a sponsor. You can also expand your book club to other companies. It's refreshing to talk to others about current topics and a book club is a great way to do so

2. Schedule a meeting time and location. Normally once a month is about right. Some clubs meet every two months, others meet once a quarter. Some clubs even meet via tele-conference.

3. Check our Book Recommendations. Every two months, The Adele Lynn Leadership Group will post our favorites. Any book we post will have an author who is willing to host a ½ hour chat with book club members. We'll also provide discussion guides when available. If you club decides to read our recommended book, be sure to sign up to receive the announcements for our free author tele-chats. We'll send you the time and call in numbers so you can join in.

4. Order books. Some books are available at a discount through our store. Others we recommend will be available through AMAZON or other book sellers. Order books at least 4 weeks ahead of your meeting time.

5. Appoint a facilitator for your discussion. You can rotate this responsibility or have a fixed facilitator. Just be sure the facilitator encourages open participation and respects start and end times. The facilitator should faciliatate a discussion of the key points and ask for ideas about how the concepts can apply to your organization.

6. Join us for a ½ hour tele-conference where you have a unique opportunity to chat with the author, ask questions and gain additional insights.

7. Sign up for our book club:
