About Douglas Reid:
Douglas Reid is the founder of the Group for Advancing Possibilities (GAP), a Scottsdale based consulting group. Doug applies his talents as a consultant, facilitator, trainer and executive coach to individual, group, and organizational development and transformation. Strategic planning, team building, leadership development, new product development, change management, executive and team coaching, and general meeting facilitation, are a few examples of the work he does in the U.S. and throughout Europe in many types of organizations.
Prior to starting his own business ten years ago, Doug enjoyed a 15-year career in Human Resources and Organizational Development for a large multi-national computer company. Doug has been a member of the Creative Education Foundation (CEF) since 1979 and was honored with a Distinguished Leader Award in 1997. CEF is the sponsor of the Creative Problem Solving Institute where Doug has served as a volunteer leader since 1983.
Doug earned a B.A. in Interpersonal Communications from Ohio University , an M.S. in Creativity and Change Management from Buffalo State College, and certification as an Executive Coach through the Executive Coach College , Ventura CA . He is certified and experienced in the Myers Briggs Type Inventory, the Index for Emotional Intelligence, the Kirton Adaption Innovation Inventory, SYMLOG (an assessment of values for teamwork), and Foursight (a measure of one's creative problem solving preference).

When he is not working, Doug enjoys his wife, two teenage children, and his dog. He likes to travel and he is a great cook!
